@eloicourau6855 Yes, Thank you, you are right, it would be good not to breathe in during the whole phrases… I am generalny a fan of long singing phrases, it keeps the smoothness of legato lines, it teaches us to use our breath efficiently, and it sounds like proper Italian Bel-Canto music line should look like. At the beginning of our singing journey, as you noticed it is not so easy, and it is always a challenge…🙂

@MrDanilop45 Thank you so much for your kind words. I had Italian language classes when I was studying singing, I enjoyed it a lot. I was in Italy twice and always I found it very pleasant to listen to your speaking and singing Italian. I also met very friendly people there. My native Polish language has a bit similar vowels, maybe it helps…. All the best! 🙂

@Opurra Thank you for your comment. Concone and Vaccai exercises and songs are the greatest way to sing at the beggining of out vocal adventure as you know. Yes I think they will be great for you to come back to your good singing and musical shape. We have an incredable facility in our brain neuroplasticity. So you have to be patient and persistant. You have to find the right place for the vowel e (it.), and sing it with the ringing tone using the right support. You have to remember about relaxing especiially your jaw, it often blocks us from the higher notes. Everyone of us has the vowel that is more comfortable for us. So the work is to make them similar to each other. If you can go up using the siren on the sound which is free and comfortable for you try to modifie it to get e ( ce), add consinant c (ce) without disturbing the vowel. Of course the teacher, your own practice and trying should help. Do not concentrate only on higher sounds. Sing a lot in your comfortable middle and lower register. All the best! 💪🙂

@shattered_soul - listen to Caruso, Gigli and Tito Gobbi. Please do not listen to me. Your time is precious. Use it wisely. Don't waste it watching my videos. Find a good teacher and good luck with your singing.

Please try to listen to more bel canto singers and try to rediscover or find something new in old singers like Gigli, Caruso, young tenor with a good technique, Kang Wang, not Caruso but not bad). I'm sorry if I was aggressive, but it's very sad when opera is lost in your eyes and ears. I'm studying in the bel canto style, but I'm too young, and I don’t know a lot of things. ⁠​⁠I disagree, any time is a good time to begin one’s singing journey. In fact, the earlier the better. Just like how you performed this piece for your FIRST voice recital!!! CONGRATS! I agree with the original comment, in that it is a good idea to listen to singers such as Caruso or Gigli, because their sound is unaffected and is truly their voice. What I hear when this teacher sings is an overly dark and covered woofy sound, that sounds nothing like his speaking voice. It is this intentional/unintentional change that most modern opera singers create on their voice that affects the sound and ease of singing. I would encourage singers of ANY level of experience or style, to strive to find their voice that feels natural in all parts of their range.
